The installation Crystal Rain, created in collaboration with light artist Takahiro Matsuo, accompanies the presentation of the new Crystal Grand Piano, a synthesis of the craftsmanship and technical expertise that Kawai has developed over its ninety-year history.

Floating on gently rippling water, the Crystal Grand Piano ignites a cascade of light with every note, enveloping the surrounding environment in luxurious brilliance and transparency.

By creating a new spatial dimension through the transparent piano and the integration of art and technology, Kawai moves beyond the conventional boundaries of traditional musical instrument production, offering architects and designers a more contemporary and innovative concept of musical space.
