AGC Asahi Glass

With the project entitled “Amorphous,” Japan’s AGC Asahi Glass seeks to redefine the traditional image of glass, drawing inspiration from the concept of the “amorphous,” a molecular structure without a defined shape.

The space, created using thousands of fragments of chemically tempered thin glass, allows visitors to experience a unique environment—light, free, and rich in expressiveness—representing a molecular structure magnified a billion times. Plays of light and reflections stimulate the eye and immerse the viewer in the complex microcosm inherent to glass, normally imperceptible to the naked eye.

Within this perceptual interplay, the glass gradually shifts in tone through movement, while visitors see themselves reflected in the vitreous space and observe the effects generated in the background.
